Hello everyone! My name is Mr. Sandig, and I am an international teacher from the Philippines. I earned my degree in Bachelor of Elementary Education, specializing in Mathematics, from the University of Mindanao, Panabo City Campus. This is my first year teaching in CPS, but I bring with me over two decades of teaching experience. I began my teaching journey in 2002 and, for the past 12 years, I have dedicated myself to working as a Special Education (SPED) teacher in the Philippines, a role that holds a special place in my heart. I am incredibly grateful that my first year in the United States is here at McDowell. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and embraced as part of a family. The warmth and support from my fellow teachers, students, and the administration have been truly heartwarming. I feel a deep sense of pride to be part of this amazing community where we work together to learn, grow, and support one another. Thank you all for making this experience so meaningful—I am excited for what lies ahead!
